_exploring
I am a photojournalist and visual storyteller with an Italian heart and a multicultural mind. Milan and New York are my main bases, though my work often takes me across the globe.

_working
_ I have worked across many fields of photojournalism – society, travel, fashion, sport and advertising – but social themes remain at the heart of my work.
_My photography and journalism have taken me around the world, from the Middle East, Africa, India, China, Vietnam to the Americas and Europe. My images have appeared in numerous print and online publications in Italy, Switzerland, Great Britain, France, Belgium and Egypt.
_ I have spent much of my professional life in Milan, Brussels, Cairo – where I published the book Egypt Unexpected – Paris, Singapore, Dubai and New York.
_ My time in Egypt was a turning point: my interest in Arab culture and Middle Eastern issues grew deeper. In 2011, I co-founded FocusMéditerranée, an online magazine building dialogue between Europe and North Africa through social and cultural storytelling.
_remembering
I graduated in Political Science at the University of Milan and in Photography at Istituto Europeo Design Milano. I also attended a master training course on Reporting in crisis zones at Tor Vergata University in Rome.
